Envisa, a US-Area 52 Horde Guild

Envisa is a Horde guild on the US-Area 52 server founded by a group of friends interested in creating a fun, professional raiding environment. Most of our founding members saw Sunwell, and many of us killed Kil'jaeden. We have been hardcore, and this no longer interests us. With Envisa, we are seeking to create a tight-knit group of raiders with whom we wish to explore all the content of WotLK, current and future.

Many of us did "hardcore raiding" in Burning Crusade and have found that, for whatever reason, this strategy is not for us in this expansion. Rather than "go casual," we decided to go professional. This means that we intend to raid 2-3 nights a week, and, on these nights, we expect all of our raiders to perform to the best of their ability.

We are looking for a few good players to fill out the last full-time raid spots. Ideally, we want players who know their class/role well, but who are open to learning as needed. We are not interested in massive over-recruitment; we want to establish a 10-man raiding core, and this core will be the group with which we intend to kill Arthas. Because of this, we do place a large amount of importance on how well applicants get along with us (and how well we get along with them). It's hardly a pleasant experience raiding with people whose company you don't enjoy, and that is exactly the sort of environment we don't want.

We use Ventrilo, Omen, and DBM/Bigwigs religiously.

We raid Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from ~8:00PM - 11:00PM server time (EST, GMT -5:00)

What, if any, raiding experience do you have?: I've cleared MC and Ony at 80 (lawl), and I cleared all of BC raiding content.
What would you bring to Envisa?: I would be bringing a good DPSer who knows her class but is still open to criticism. I'm not afraid to change my spec to meet the needs of a raid, and I also have a good set of healing gear if the need arises. However, I really prefer not to heal full-time.
What do you expect from Envisa?: I expect a professional raiding environment in which I can depend on every member of the raid to be bringing their A-game. I also expect a relatively drama-free environment. And finally, I expect boobies. Lots and lots of boobies.
Tell us a bit about yourself: I'm a pretty huge nerd. I've been into fandom of one sort or another since I was very young, and aside from playing WoW I love console RPGs and platformers. I also read a lot of books, and have been told that I have entirely too many. I try to be an easygoing individual, and I try very hard to not bring drama to any guild I'm in.
